Sami Khedira to Real Madrid

Sami Khedira who did a great job as a German midfielder in the Word Cup in South Africa, is now gone from Stuttgart to Real Madrid.

Khedira was kind of the glue and a player that was not as visible as others but still very important for the German team.

Laurent Blanc the new France national team manager, is putting him self in the spotlight, and is demanding a lot from the players in the years to come. If they do not perform as he hope they will, he says he will quit the job.

Maradona is out

Diego Maradona is no longer the manager for Argentina. He did not come to an understanding with Gronado, the leader in AFA.

Maradona is said to be willing to continue if all of his staff could continue working with him as under the word cup. Things did not go as planed for Maradona and he is now out in the cold in regards to the Argentine manager job.

There was a lot of controversy regarding his knowledge in the tactical field under the World Cup in South Africa and we wonder if this is part of why he is not going to continue.

Maradona was and is a colorful person, and it was great following him and Argentina under this summers games in Africa.

Go back to Grorud

Jo Hooley was a colorful figure from Barnsley. In 1986 I think it was, I was a proud 19 year old player in the Skeid squad.

I even got my own car, a Renault 5 with Kristiansen on the side.

In those days striping your hair and making it lighter was a cool thing to do. So I was not an exception.

The problem was that the hole thing went wrong and all my hair went totally white….

Just like Jo’s hair, of other causes ofcourse.

So… the other players started to call me “little Hooley”. They had a ball on my expense :-(

One of those days we where driving to Kjelsaas for a game and Hooley stopped my car and I rolled down the window.

He was a man that made you a little nervous, and he said:

“Lars, are you a playboy????????”.

No I stuttered. He replied:

“If you are, you can go back to Grorud”

It was obvious that he did not like my “new” hairstyle.

A story I allways remember he he.

Jet turnering fotball 2010

Som mange vet er Jet turneringen på Hamar årets begivenhet for mange av Norges beste junior spillere i fotball.

Blandt annet blir spillere fra lokale lag hentet inn som gjestespillere. Sortlands Jonathan Barlow skal i år spille på Tromsøs lag i jet turneringen. Der kjemper han om plass med blant andre Thomas Drage som er i a stallen til TIL. Dette vil være en fin fin mulighet for lokale spillere til å vise seg fram.

Klare for årets JET-turnering

Kommende uke reiser juniorlaget til Hamar for å spille Junior Elite Turnering (JET) mot alle lagene fra Tippeligaen og noen spesielt inviterte internasjonale lag.

JET-oppsettet klart – Rosenborg Ballklub

GOD MOTSTAND: I 2009 møtte RBK Stabæk i JET, det samme laget de senere skulle møte i cupfinalen. Junior Eliteturneringa (JET) er en prestisjetung turnering i G19-klassen hvor mange av de beste juniorlagene i Norge deltar.

Med i JET-turneringen også i år

Juniorlaget skal også denne sommeren spille JET (Junior Elite Turnering) på Hamar i Juli måned. Vi har som sikkert mange vet spilt finale på Briskeby de to seneste årene mot henholdsvis Rosenborg (tap 1 – 4) og Vålerenga (tap 0 – 5).
