It went just as 442fotball.no thought it would. Spain kept the ball most of the game and Holland tried a few times with counter attacks.

Both Van Bommel and de Jong played at times hard and ugly fotball, and espesially de Jong was lucky not to be sent off after a karate kick on Alonso.

Congratulation Spain Won The Worldcup 2010 Final

Like Spain, the Netherlands have never won a World Cup–though they’ve been on the cusp, having reached the 1974 and 1978 finals. Unlike Spain, the Dutch don’t carry two years’ worth of expectations into Sunday’s game.

Spain is favorites to win against Holland in this evenings final in South Africa. Hollands Sneijder and Spanish striker Villa is both fighting over the world cup topscorer title.

Both players say they dont think about this at all. The only thing that matter is to win the final.  Deutchlands Mueller and Klose, and Sneijder and Villa all have scoret 5 goals.

442fotball.no think that Spain will have most of the ballposession in todays final, but Holland will not be as passive as Germany was in the semifinal against Spain. That is why this final will be a fantastic final between two offensive positive teams wanting to attack and score goals.

World Cup 2010 Final: Spain the Favorites

Spain are presumptive favorites heading into Sunday’s World Cup Final, but, with history ever present at the tournament, it’s the Dutch who may be under.

Gerard Pique doesn’t consider Spain favorites

When the World Cup was set to kick-off, Spain were considered the favorites to win the Cup. However, when Spain took the field for their first game in the tournament against Switzerland, no one would have expected Spain to come up short.

Netherlands vs Spain Live Final Fifa World Cup Fixture

“I don’t care even if the whole world calls Spain favorites. The game will be about two countries facing each other who want to win and who can win. We believe in ourselves. We have respect for Spain, but we don’t fear them.” …

Spain and Netherlands set for classy final

Both Spain and the Dutch perfectly illustrate the big lesson of this World Cup — that the teams who play as units are superior to those that revolved around the fallen pre-tournament favorites like Cristiano Ronaldo and Wayne Rooney.

The Adidas Jabulani ball has made a storm of angry fotballers all over the world. They feel the ball is to blame for many of the goals in the 2010 World Cup.

The shoots fired with the ball end up everywhere as the ball goes here and there on its way to the net. It makes it allmost impossible for goal keepers to know where the ball is going.

Schmeichel blames Jubilani for goalkeepers blunders

If you use that ball for the next two or three years you will see keepers making less and less mistakes as they would have adjusted to the line the ball takes.

Fabio Capello has won it all but is he the proper option for England? I am not sure he is.

What he showed as a coach in Englands matches in South Africa was not what brilliant from a tactical stand point.

In truth, he has won the domestic league with each and every single team he has managed and in much more than one nation. But that obviously doesnt matter when you do not produce any results as the England manager.

I am fully aware that I am late to the why-England-were-eliminated-party here, but as I’ve pored over the litany of explanations on the web, I’ve found that.
